We recently commenced acting for a client facing several assault charges which arose from an incident in which the “complainants” had threatened and assaulted the client and his partner on their property.

The client faced losing his employment if convicted of these charges. James Jackson carefully reviewed the evidence and determined that there were a number of defences open to the client, which the prosecution had no prospect of negating.

James presented a submission to the prosecution requesting that they discontinue the charges against our client. The prosecution agreed with the submissions and withdrew all charges against our client.

Within a few short weeks of being represented by James Jackson Criminal Defence, our client went from facing the risk of losing their employment and multiple charges, to having all charges dismissed. This was an outstanding outcome and we were very happy to be able to assist our client in this matter.
